      VET in Schools Programs

Vocational Education and Training in Schools (VET in Schools or VETiS) is a way to do career focused training while at secondary school.

Studying a VET in Schools course contributes to your VCE or VCAL program.

By starting vocational training while studying your senior secondary certificate, you get a head start with job or career skills.

A VET in Schools qualification can assist you to move on to an apprenticeship, other employment, or further study. You can even commence a part-time apprenticeship as part of your studies.

Download the Pathfinder booklet (PDF - 7.9MB) for a full list of courses and information.

Please note: VET in Schools course applications must be submitted by the secondary college (VET/ VCAL careers or year level coordinator).

To withdraw a student from the program, download and complete the School Programs Withdrawal form.

You can also visit the Victorian Curriculum Assessment Authority website for VCAA VCE VET program booklets and for background information on VCE VET programs.
