      FEE-HELP

Chisholm Institute has been approved as a Higher Education provider under the FEE-HELP Assistance scheme and has been able to offer FEE-HELP assistance since July 2011.

    What is FEE-HELP?

FEE-HELP is an Australian Government income contingent loan scheme that assists eligible students to pay for all or part of their tuition fees when studying one or more of the following accredited courses at Chisholm:

    • Bachelor of Community Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs
    • Bachelor of Engineering Technology
    • Bachelor of Interactive Multimedia Design

Students do not have to repay the loan, which is facilitated by the Australian Taxation Office, until their income is above the minimum repayment threshold for compulsory repayment.  Voluntary repayments may be made at any time.  There is a loan fee of 25% for FEE-HELP loans for undergraduate courses.

You are eligible for  FEE-HELP assistance at Chisholm if you:

    • Are enrolled in an eligible unit of study by its census date
    • Are an Australian citizen or permanent  humanitarian visa holder and will remain in Australia for the duration of the unit of study
    • Meet the tax file number (TFN) requirements
    • Have not exceeded the FEE-HELP limit
