The Victorian Government will continue the $100 tuition fee for all TAFE Diploma and Advanced Diploma students who are under 25 years old on 1 January, 2012 and who are listed on a Commonwealth Health Care Card, Pensioner Concession Card or Veterans' Gold Card at the time of their enrolment.

The new $100 tuition fee only applies to students who enrol in a Diploma or Advanced Diploma course from 1 February 2011, or who are entering a second or consecutive year of study. This reduces the tuition fee from a possible $2,500 to just $100 for those eligible students.

Please note: The above fees do not apply to Fee for Service courses. 

In 2012 the government will pay majority of the cost of your training, if you are eligible.

You will still pay some fees depending on the course category and now that we can offer elegible students VET FEE HELP loans or Staged Payment Plans, learning is even more affordable.

Skills Building courses (Certificates I to IV).  Chisholm is introducing a Stage Payment Plan to assist eleigible students with fee payment.

Skills Deepening courses (Diploma and above).  If you need help to pay either your subsidised fee contribution or the full fee requirement, you may be eligible for a VET FEE-HELP loan.  You only repay the loan - which is provided by the Australian Government – through the taxation system when your future income reaches a certain level.

Chisholm is a registered VET FEE-HELP provider and can assist you with your application. There is no loan application fee and you can start studying and may not need to pay anything upfront. Find out more about the VET FEE-HELP.
