VET in Schools

If you are a secondary school student, Vocational Education and Training in Schools lets you incorporate vocational training while at school.  Studying a vocational certificate can enhance your VCE both for enjoyment and a better VCE enter score.   VCE is traditionally completed by people who are aiming to continue on to university and also opens the way to further TAFE study.

VCAL is a new alternative with a vocational focus that offers pathways into TAFE, apprenticeships and employment. Starting vocational training while studying your senior secondary certificate allows you to get a head start on industry skills that will assist you to find an apprenticeship, other employment and continue to further study. You can even commence a part time apprenticeship as part of your studies. See VET in Schools for more.

The VET in Schools online database allows secondary schools to monitor their students' attendance and results.  A login and password is required.
