* To be eligible for a Training Guaranteed place in a diploma or advanced diploma, you first need to be an Australian citizen or permanent resident—or hold a Special Category Visa (for New Zealand citizens). Second, you either need to be under 20 on January 1st in the year you will be undertaking the course—or, if you’re over 20, the diploma or advanced diploma must be higher than the highest qualification you hold already.
**New Victorian Government subsidies to pay for most of your costs. You still have to contribute a certain amount as a tuition fee. (For diplomas and advanced diplomas begun from July 1 2009, the maximum capped tuition fee for the six months between July and December 2009 will be no more than $750.)
