Diploma of Laboratory Technology (Specialising in Biological Testing, Manufacturing and Forensic Chemistry)

This technician level course encompasses a wide range of skills, techniques and processes with specialist studies in biological and environmental testing, process manufacturing testing or forensic chemistry. Food Technology units may also be available. This course provides training for personnel who provide para-professional support in a wide range of scientific laboratories, and graduates are flexible, adaptable and competent to meet the technological and administrative demands of the industry which they work in. Satisfactory completion of the first year qualifies for the Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques.
