Diploma of Professional Writing and Editing

The Diploma of Professional Writing & Editing provides the applied Writing and Editing skills needed for entry into the Writing, Editing and publishing industries, and enables those already in the industry to develop and expand their skills. The Diploma of Professional Writing & Editing is also offered through Monash University as part of a dual award program with the Bachelor of Communications. The course is structured around the entire Writing process, from the initial concept, through drafts and Editing to the final production of publishable work. There is a strong emphasis on industry standards and a focus on the markets available to the emerging writer and editor.

How do I apply?
Full time students must apply through VTAC and complete the TAFE Supplementary Application Form. Part-time students must apply to Chisholm Institute using a Direct Application Form. These completed forms must be returned to the Department.
