Diploma of Liberal Arts
This course aims to develop general knowledge and skills for effective participation in the arts and social sciences. The course develops competencies for workplaces where advanced communications skills and a broad general knowledge are assets. The first year of this course will result in the award of a Certificate IV in liberal arts. The Diploma of liberal arts can allow students to transfer, with the equivalent of up to one-year's credit, into an arts social science course at selected universities.
What will I be studying?
Psychology; Philosophy; Mythology; Sociology; Economics; Texts; Culture Students are required to satisfactorily complete all modules in first year to attain Certificate IV.
