This qualification provides the skills and knowledge for an inficidual to be competent in a broad range of event mangement and hospitality skills, including significant communication, planning and organisational skills. this is underpinned by a detailed knowledge of the eventg management process. This qualification also provides the skills and knowledge for an individual to be a competent supervisor in any hospitality functional area. This person would possess a sound theoretical knowledge base and be able to use a range of specialised, technical or managerial competencies to plan, carry out and evaluate their own work and/or the work of their team.
